Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and integrate control system software for automated machinery, including PLCs, robotics, motion control, HMI, SCADA, and vision systems.
Test, commission, and provide ongoing support for machine control software.
Create system architectures, process flows, and detailed software design documentation.
Ensure equipment is designed in line with CE, electrical, machinery safety, and client-specific standards.
Prepare and interpret design and validation documentation required for regulated industries.
Specify and select control system components.
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary project team and support customers throughout the project lifecycle.
Contribute to the improvement and standardization of control systems, adopting the latest technologies.
Experience Required
Demonstrated experience in the design, specification, and development of automated machinery.
Strong background in PLC and HMI/SCADA programming, ideally with platforms such as Allen Bradley, Omron, or Siemens.
Knowledge of software architecture and design methodologies, including GAMP, ISA88, ISA95, and 21CFR Part 11 compliance.
Hands-on experience in equipment testing, debugging, and validation.
Ability to produce and review technical documentation for regulated industries.
Familiarity with robotics, motion control, vision systems, and pneumatics is essential.
Experience with KUKA or Fanuc robots is advantageous.
Qualifications
Level 8 qualification in engineering or a closely related discipline.
5+ years of relevant experience preferred.
