Semi Senior Accountant

Our client a well estbalished practice firm in Cork is seeking to hire a Semi Senior Accountant. You will have the opportunity to work in a wide range of services accountancy practice-including financial reporting, corporate and personal tax compliance, audit, back office and bookkeeping, payroll, business and tax planning.

Role Description

You will be responsible for performing some of the following tasks :

• Accounts for small companies
• Audit Engagements
• Sole trader Accounts
• Basic Income Tax and corporation tax returns
• VAT and Payroll
• Reconciliation of Control Accounts
• You will work closely with the senior partner and be an integral part of the management team in delivering high-quality services to clients.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified accountant ACCA, CPA ,ICAI , AITI working toward qualification
• Experience working in a public accounting firm or practice environment
• Good communication, organisation, and analytical skills
• Ability to work well independently and as a team member
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
• Attention to detail and accuracy
