About the Role
We are seeking a QA Engineer (Contract) to join an established development team working on enterprise-level software solutions. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring product quality through meticulous testing, documentation, and collaboration with developers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases based on product requirements and user stories.

Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing across web and API layers.

Collaborate with developers and product owners to identify, document, and resolve defects.

Contribute to test planning and continuous process improvement within the QA function.

Track and manage issues using Jira or similar defect-tracking tools.

Participate in Agile ceremonies, providing QA insight and support throughout sprint cycles.

Ensure that all releases meet defined quality and performance standards prior to deployment.
Required Skills & Experience

3+ years' experience in software QA (manual and/or automated).

Proficiency in writing and executing test plans, cases, and scripts.

Experience with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright (or similar automation frameworks).

Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured.

Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Solid knowledge of SDLC and QA best practices.

Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Nice to Have

Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.).

Knowledge of SQL for data validation.

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Background in performance or security testing.
