We are hiring a Process Engineer with strong experience in CAPEX project delivery, commissioning and qualification (FAT/SAT, IQ/OQ/PQ), and liquid processing systems (UHT, aseptic, CIP) to support a major greenfield build of a next-generation liquid nutrition manufacturing facility in Ireland. The site will feature high-hygiene process systems, advanced utilities, and automation.
This role will focus on end-to-end process implementation, working with internal project teams, EPCM partners, OEMs, and suppliers to deliver systems from design through to commissioning, qualification, and ramp-up.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as process engineering lead for liquid and powder systems across the project lifecycle
- Support design, installation, commissioning, and qualification (DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ)
- Participate in FAT/SAT, performance testing, and startup troubleshooting
- Support integration of systems including blending, dosing, UHT, CIP, and material handling
- Work closely with EPCM partners, OEMs, and contractors on design and execution
- Support CAPEX scope, planning, risk management, and change control
- Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, hygienic design, and safety standards
- Support operational readiness including SOPs, training, documentation, and handover
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering (Process, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or related)
- 5+ years' experience in process/project engineering within food, dairy, pharma, FMCG, chemical, or nutrition
- Experience in greenfield or brownfield project delivery
- Strong exposure to CAPEX projects, commissioning, and OEM coordination
- Experience with FAT/SAT and IQ/OQ/PQ
- Knowledge of liquid processing systems and hygienic design (UHT/CIP desirable)
- Ability to interpret P&IDs, PFDs, and technical drawings
- Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
