We are recruiting for a Payroll Manager to join a large, well-established organisation with operations across Ireland and the UK. This is a key leadership role where you'll oversee a busy payroll function, manage a team, and ensure payroll is delivered accurately and on time for a high-volume workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the day-to-day payroll operations, covering both weekly and monthly cycles
Manage and develop a payroll team, ensuring training and support are in place
Maintain compliance with Irish and UK payroll legislation
Partner with Finance, HR, and external providers to ensure smooth payroll delivery
Oversee payroll projects such as system upgrades, automation, and process improvements
Ensure accurate reporting and analysis of payroll data for senior management
Act as the main point of contact for payroll audits and compliance reviews
What We're Looking For:
5+ years' payroll experience, including exposure to Irish and UK payrolls
Proven leadership skills and experience managing a payroll team
Strong technical knowledge of payroll systems and statutory requirements
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Confident communicator who can work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders
