    An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Receivable Team Lead to join an established and dynamic finance team based in Cork. This role offers the chance to lead and develop a high-performing Accounts Receivable team within a multinational environment. The ideal candidate will be a strong people leader with a focus on process improvement, performance management, and operational excellence.

    This is a hybrid role with some office based work required.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Accounts Receivable Specialists, ensuring effective people and performance management, regular one-to-ones, and clear development plans.
    • Oversee day-to-day AR operations within a shared services environment, ensuring adherence to defined process standards and KPIs.
    • Drive improvements across processes and controls, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing effective solutions.
    • Manage and prioritise key AR activities, including cash application, manual transactions, credit management, invoice uploads, and supplier master data.
    • Collaborate closely with the AR Collections, Business Operations, Sales, Treasury & Banking, and Payments teams to ensure strong communication and process alignment.
    • Prepare and present operational, SOX compliance, and executive-level reports.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 2+ years' experience in a similar leadership or senior AR role.
    • Experience within a multinational or shared service centre environment preferred.
    • Proven people management and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
    • Strong analytical and organisational abilities, with excellent attention to detail.
    • Proactive and adaptable, with a continuous improvement mindset.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • A collaborative team player who demonstrates accountability and initiative.
