Mon to Fri - 09:00-17:30pm
14 month fixed term contract with a view to going longer
Are you an experienced Administrator who enjoys variety, working with people and keeping things running smoothly?
We're looking for a strong Administrator to join a growing team. This is a hands on, client facing role offering plenty of variety, with the opportunity to work across administration, customer service, supplier coordination and operational support.
You'll be dealing with employees, managers, customers and suppliers on a daily basis, so we're looking for someone who is confident, organised and enjoys being at the centre of a busy team.
If you have excellent attention to detail, can manage multiple priorities and enjoy finding ways to improve how things are done, this could be a great opportunity for you.
What will you be doing?
- Responding to customer enquiries by phone, email and in person.
- Providing day-to-day administrative and operational support to the wider team.
- Managing a range of business administration processes and ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
- Supporting the administration of employee overtime and expenses.
- Coordinating sample intake and reception activities.
- Preparing quotations and customer documentation.
- Liaising with suppliers to confirm product availability, pricing and lead times.
- Acting as a key point of contact for employees, managers, customers and external providers.
- Maintaining clear records and providing regular updates to the team.
- Supporting reporting, compliance and document management activities.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and make day-to-day administration more efficient.
- Providing general support to ensure the smooth running of the business.
What are we looking for?
You'll ideally have at least 2 years' experience in an administrative role and be comfortable working in a busy environment where priorities can change.
We're looking for someone who is:
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Naturally proactive with a practical, can-do approach.
- A strong communicator, both written and verbal.
- Confident dealing with customers, colleagues, managers and suppliers.
- Accurate and detail-focused.
- A good problem solver who can react quickly when things change.
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of tasks.
- Experienced using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Comfortable working across multiple systems and software.
- Experience dealing with external suppliers or service providers is desirable.
- Familiarity with document management systems is desirable.
- Legally entitled to work in Ireland with a valid work permit/visa.
