Management Accountant
My client is looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join their finance team and take responsibility for the financial performance of a key operational division.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will work closely with senior management and operational teams, providing financial insight and helping to drive performance, cost control and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage financial reporting and performance for the assigned business area.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and regular P&L reporting.
- Analyse financial results, investigate variances and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with managers to manage costs and deliver against budgets.
- Provide financial support for tenders, pricing and commercial decisions.
- Lead regular financial performance reviews with senior stakeholders.
- Support the wider finance team with group reporting and management accounts.
- Produce financial analysis and ad hoc reports as required.
About You
- Professionally qualified accountant with 5 years' post-qualification experience.
- Strong commercial awareness and analytical ability.
- Confident influencing and partnering with senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, organised and comfortable working independently.
- Adaptable, reliable and able to manage competing priorities.
