    I am delighted to be partnering exclusively with my client as they recruit for a HR Director - Europe.

    Reporting directly to the VP of HR (US-based), the HR Director - Europe will lead the regional HR strategy, working closely with senior leaders to ensure consistent HR practices, compliance with local labour laws, and alignment with global HR initiatives. This role will require travel across Europe, particularly during the first six months in the position.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Partner with senior leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives and foster a cohesive organisational culture across all Regions.
    • Coach, mentor, and develop the European HR team, ensuring the delivery of best-practice HR solutions that support business goals.
    • Work closely with Legal to ensure all HR policies and practices comply with local labour laws and regulations. Regularly review and update policies to reflect legislative changes and evolving best practices. Lead recruitment strategies across the region, ensuring the organisation attracts, develops, and retains high-performing talent while supporting robust succession planning initiatives.
    • Drive the implementation and ongoing development of the performance management framework, ensuring consistency of approach and clear performance metrics aligned with business objectives.
    • Provide guidance and support to senior management and the HR team on all employee relations matters, promoting fair and consistent practices.
    • Identify organisational training needs and implement development initiatives to enhance employee capability and support career progression.
    • Collaborate with Finance and Global HR to design and implement competitive compensation and benefits programs that align with local market standards.

    Experience Required

    • Third-level qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred).
    • Proven experience operating in a senior HR leadership role.
    • Strong leadership capability with excellent stakeholder management and engagement skills.
    • International or global HR experience is advantageous, though not essential.
