Financial Accountant

Are you an experienced and detail-oriented accountant looking for your next challenge? We're seeking a Fixed Term Contract Accountant to join our dynamic finance team based in Cork. This role offers hybrid working flexibility and the opportunity to collaborate with international outsourced finance teams, playing a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with outsourced finance providers to ensure smooth day-to-day finance operations

• Review and oversee month-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting packs

• Support the preparation of management accounts, budgets, and forecasts

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements

• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external auditors as needed

• Drive continuous process improvements and contribute to finance transformation initiatives

Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent)

• 3+ years' experience in a similar role, ideally within a multinational or outsourced finance environment

• Strong understanding of financial reporting, controls, and accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP)

• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage remote teams and third-party providers

• Proficient in Excel and familiar with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
