We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Credit Control Analyst on behalf of our client, a leading multinational organisation. Operating out of their Shared Service Centre in Cork, this role is critical to managing credit risk, driving timely collections, and resolving queries across a key customer portfolio to optimise working capital.

This role is hybrid with 3 days based on site in Cork.
Dispute Resolution & Collaboration: Drive cross-functional dispute resolution workflows and conduct root-cause analysis alongside Sales and Customer Service teams. Enforce strict SLAs to prevent dispute escalation and minimize aged unallocated cash.
Credit Decisioning: Evaluate credit holds and execute autonomous order release decisions within designated authority limits, balancing commercial urgency with risk exposure.
Risk Assessment: Perform periodic financial risk assessments and credit limit reviews for new and existing accounts using third-party risk data and financial statements. Submit formal recommendations for approval.
Account Portfolio Management: Monitor account balances and enforce strict compliance with agreed credit limits and payment terms through strategic stakeholder engagement.
Cash Application Oversight: Resolve unallocated cash and unapplied receipts promptly to ensure customer sub-ledgers accurately reflect real-time exposure.
Minimum Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 1 year (12+ months) of hands-on experience in an Accounts Receivable (AR) or Credit Control role within a multinational environment.
Systems Expertise: Direct working experience with major enterprise ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Oracle Fusion, or Microsoft Dynamics).
Education: Certificate or Diploma level qualification (or equivalent) in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
Language Skills: Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication capabilities. Additional Language such as French, Spanish, German is a distinct advantage
Key Skills for Success:
Strong numerical and analytical capabilities with advanced proficiency in MS Excel and/or Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs).
Practical understanding of credit risk evaluation, financial analysis, and sub-ledger reconciliation.
Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
