Description
- Produce accurate CAD drawings to support the Process Engineering Teams projects.
Examples:
P&ID's (2D) General Layout Drawings (2D & 3D),
Detailed skid systems models (3D)
Site Layout and detailed equipment and pipework models.
Workshop Drawings - Pipework Isometrics, Weld Maps, Slope Maps, Material Traceability Maps Reference
- Interact with projects team stakeholders (Internal, Client and suppliers) to develop concepts and ideas to workable solutions.
- Maintain and contribute to company drafting standards adherence and development.
- Troubleshoot CAD software and hardware issues as they arise and share learnings with the drafting team.
- Interact with workshop craft personnel to develop knowledge of "how to build" aseptic process systems to ensure drawings are developed considering build process.
Required key skills & experience of CAD Designer
- Minimum Level 7 in related field (preferred).
- 2-5 years' experience utilizing CAD software in a professional environment
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Plant3D, P&ID (drawings and symbols), ISO and BSI drafting standards, building regulations for stairs and platforms are an advantage.
- An understanding of mechanical/pipework/process engineering/metal fabrication projects are an advantage.
- Knowledge, experience of pharmaceutical process systems are an advantage.
- Highly organized and ability to multi-task and manage competing needs and deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written including ability to develop detailed applications proposals.
- Ability to think in a three-dimensional manner.
- Ability to work well in a team.
