AI Engineer

My client is looking for an AI Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join their organisation based in Cork. This is a permanent role.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy intelligent automation solutions using RPA platforms, AI components, APIs, and orchestration tools.

• Act as a subject matter expert in intelligent automation, advising stakeholders on best-fit technologies and solution approaches.

• Develop, test, and refine LLM prompts to support scalable and effective automation use cases.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure RPA and AI initiatives align with business objectives and delivery standards.

• Document solution designs, outcomes, and lessons learned to support continuous improvement and reuse.

• Provide post-deployment support and optimisation for automation solutions, following defined operational and support processes.

Key Skills and Experience

• Minimum 5 years' experience delivering intelligent automation solutions in enterprise environments.

• Strong hands-on experience with RPA technologies (e.g. Blue Prism) and automation frameworks.

• Practical experience with machine learning, LLMs, and prompt engineering.

• Solid software engineering fundamentals, including algorithms, design principles, APIs, and database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).

• Experience working with cloud platforms and modern DevOps or MLOps practices (Azure or AWS preferred).

• Excellent problem solving and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
