You'll gain hands-on experience across multiple jurisdictions, contribute to strategic projects and play a key role in ensuring tax compliance and supporting business growth within a collaborative, high-performing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the preparation and submission of corporate tax returns, tax filings and statutory reporting requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
- Assisting with quarterly and annual tax reporting, including tax computations, provisions, reconciliations and journal entries.
- Helping to manage tax compliance and ensuring all obligations are met accurately and on time.
- Monitoring changes in tax legislation and assessing the impact on the business.
- Supporting tax reviews for commercial transactions and cross-border activities while assisting in identifying and managing tax risks.
- Working closely with external tax advisers and auditors to support compliance and reporting requirements.
- Identifying opportunities to improve tax processes, controls and efficiencies.
- Providing tax support and guidance to the wider finance team on day-to-day tax matters.
- Contributing to a variety of interesting projects within a dynamic international business.
About You
- AITI qualification (ACA or ACCA would be a huge advantage).
- Newly qualified or up to five years' post-qualified experience in a corporate tax or practice environment.
- A strong understanding of Irish corporate tax compliance and tax accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to build relationships across the business.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Exposure to international tax, US corporate tax or a multinational environment would be advantageous.
