Morgan McKinley is working with a well-established and growing company who are seeking a Finance Officer.This full-time position is based in Shannon, Co.Clare with some flexibility for remote working. The role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to contribute to an expanding business in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- 
Accurately process all financial transactions, primarily in Accounts Payable with some Accounts Receivable and Banking responsibilities. 
- 
Manage invoice processing, payment runs and supplier reconciliations. 
- 
Reconcile statements and ledgers resolving internal and external queries promptly. 
- 
Maintain strong relationships with vendors and ensure compliance with internal policies and Revenue regulations. 
- 
Assist with month-end journals, general ledger reconciliations and reporting. 
- 
Support year-end audit preparation and continuous improvement initiatives. 
Requirements
- 
At least 5 years' experience in a similar finance or accounts role. 
- 
Relevant accounting or finance qualification (e.g. Accounting Technician or equivalent). 
- 
Strong knowledge of accounting systems and processes. 
- 
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general IT systems. 
- 
Excellent attention to detail, organisational ability and communication skills.
