ESG Data & Analytics Lead

My client is looking for an ESG Data & Analytics Lead with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join their organisation in Shannon.

Key Skills and Experience

• Minimum 5 years' experience in data analytics, reporting, sustainability data management, ESG performance measurement, or a related analytical role.

• Degree in Data Analytics, Science, Engineering, Environmental Management, Business Analytics, Accountancy, or a similar discipline.

• Advanced analytical skills with strong proficiency in Excel, Power BI, data visualisation tools, and large dataset management.

• Experience collecting, validating, analysing, and reporting complex operational, environmental, or business performance data.

• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.

• Experience working in cross-functional environments, managing multiple projects, and driving continuous improvement through data-led decision making.

Responsibilities

• Lead the collection, calculation, validation, and analysis of sustainability and ESG datasets, including greenhouse gas emissions, energy, waste, water, and other environmental performance indicators.

• Manage the delivery of ESG, sustainability, and regulatory reporting requirements, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and audit readiness.

• Develop and maintain dashboards, visualisations, and reporting tools that provide meaningful insights for senior leadership and operational teams.

• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data analysis to support performance improvement and sustainability objectives.

• Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and specialist consultants to improve data quality, reporting processes, and ESG performance measurement.

• Support the preparation of sustainability disclosures, reports, and presentations while promoting a data-driven approach to environmental and ESG performance management.
