I am working with a growing company in Westmeath for an exciting opportunity for an experienced Systems Administrator to join an expanding team.
This position is responsible for the administration, support and maintenance of new and existing systems.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT-related questions and queries.
Perform administrator duties including maintenance, updates, account provisioning, reviews, reporting, backups and restore testing of the manufacturing network such as:
Firewall, WAPs, switches, thin clients,
VMWare, Vsphere hosts, SAN, virtual Windows SCADA, RDS, DC.
Participate via testing, authoring, and reviewing in the validation document lifecycle.
Coordinate with the external managed service provider to support the Veeam Backup system including system setup, testing, training and configuration, connectivity, and issue resolution.
Work closely with the Information Security team to ensure that all processes remain aligned with compliance requirements.
Assist IT with the administration of multiple core IT services such as Active Directory, Microsoft 365 solutions etc.
Prompt response to tier 1 - 3 technical support requests via phone, website, email or in person.
Perform new computer setups, installations, configurations, and relocations of computers, docks, monitors, printers, phones, and cables.
Assist staff with installation and basic use of departmental software.
BA/BS Degree in related field (IT, Computer Science or Business) or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Advanced level of experience (5-7 years) required, broad experience of IT and controls systems.
Experience using, supporting, administering and/or validating a variety of laboratory and/or manufacturing systems such as PCS, PEMAC, Empower 3, MES, LIMS, chromatography systems, robotics, building automation, etc. and the servers and networks that support these systems.
Strong technical background in Microsoft Server 2012/2016, Active Directory, VMWare, Veeam, Windows OS and Microsoft Office.
Excellent network troubleshooting skills and knowledge of network concepts such as TCP/IP, NAT etc.
Experience with serialization regulations for US and EU markets and configuring, integrating, and supporting systems such as VerifyBrand preferred.
Minimum two years' experience working in a GxP regulated pharmaceutical environment.
