Job Description

Are you a newly qualified Tax enthusiast looking to for your move into industry? An excellent Tax specialist role has come available with a well known company based in Dublin.

Your New Job:

Responsible for ensuring the company complies with its tax obligations and advises the business units on tax matters. The team is also responsible for the development of the strong control environment across all Tax Types.

Your Key Accountabilities:

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Providing support and tax technical advice to business divisions and management on a wide range of consultancy matters
  • Assisting in the preparation and review of various tax returns and tax computations
  • Preparing and reviewing tax provisions to meet quarterly and annual financial reporting requirements
  • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with business units/divisions.
  • Keeping up to date with current tax legal/and regulatory requirements.

About You:

You will have a strong and relevant academic record. You will also possess the following skills and competencies:

  • A professional accounting qualification and AITI qualified.
  • The ability to work effectively and efficiently, both individually and as part of a team in a demanding environment whilst meeting tight deadlines.
  • Highly motivated with the ability to use initiative & demonstrate a willingness to learn.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret new regulations and financial information.
  • Have the ability to prioritise tasks while working within tight deadlines in a demanding environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written incorporating an ability to communicate technical concepts and the ability to interact positively with clients internally and externally.
  • Strong end user computing skills in particular Microsoft Office
