Job Description

Morgan McKinley are delighted to be partnering with an innovator in the medical technology field for their first hire in the Irish market.

Our client is an innovative medical technology company who is going through a huge period of growth.This company is new to the Irish market and is looking for a project manager with software implementation experience to be their first Irish hire. The key purpose of this role is to project manage the rollout of the new EPR to hospitals.
The Project Manager will be required to coordinate people and processes to ensure that a project is delivered on time, within budget and scope. The Project Manager will facilitate close working relationships within the Implementation services team and broader management.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Managing an implementation project using project management skills and the organisation's implementation methodology including: Updating project plans and dashboards, Risk and issue management, Preparing internal and external progress reports
  • Creating and maintaining project plans and dashboards
  • Ensure that the implementation teams have the necessary skills to achieve success
  • Ensure that all out of scope work is managed appropriately
  • Responsible controlling project expenditure
  • Assisting Sales and Marketing with Implementation Plans, defining the project scope, milestones and deliverables.
  • Responsible for working with 3rd Party vendors and facilitating problem solving
  • Conducting on--site visits to customers
  • Responsible for understanding the client's business processes
  • Exhibiting a thorough understanding of the customer's strategic direction, needs, and organisational structure
  • Maintaining a strong understanding of all aspects of other vendor software
  • Monitoring any new requirements for government mandated regulatory initiatives
  • Facilitating monthly client progress meetings
  • Responsible for ensuring the implementation staff are knowledgeable on the client's business processes
  • Responsible for reporting contractual risks to executives
  • Overall budget management

Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, especially larger projects with established firms
  • 5+ years EPR/EHR/EMR experience will be an added advantage
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Strong analytical and organisation skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
  • Experience being customer focused
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Prince 2 certified
