Job Description

HR Specialist required for a large Irish state body with an international remit- Contract until March 2022

HR Specialist

Location: Dublin

Salary: €43,000

The HR Specialist will have responsibility for a broad range of activities across the end to end Employee Lifecycle / HR Service in a large state organisation with an international remit. The successful candidate must be a confident communicator with a strong knowledge of ER and stakeholder management.

The Role:

  • Working closely with relevant Managers, manage the complete each end to end recruitment and selection process
  • Provide support and advice on effective performance development implementation and change-management
  • Provide support across a range of HR services including support on managing performance,disciplinary and grievance issues
  • Develop and maintain relationships with the resulting external service providers to ensure high qualityand value for money service provision
  • Contribute to the development and review of HR policies, procedures and processes in line with current legislation, directives and best practice
  • Provide accessible HR advice and support for staff and Managers on various issues
  • Manage assigned projects as required

Requirements:

  • Significant experience of working in a HR function is essential
  • Proven experience of engaging, networking and building relationships with management teams and stakeholders is essential
  • Experience in resourcing and recruitment
  • Strong understanding of the entire employee life cycle
  • Relevant experience in formulating and implementing HR policies and processes
  • Knowledge of HR business systems including Core-HR would be beneficial
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to schedule and prioritise work, especially when working under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Experience of managing a range of multiple projects
  • A third level HR or business-related qualification is desirable
