Job Description

Our client is a leading multinational technology company looking for an experienced Global Product Lead to join their team - 11 Month Contract

As a Global Product Lead, you will develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for Local Services Ads (LSA) in EMEA. You will leverage your business and analytical skills to persistently explore and uncover the needs of advertisers, and will rely on your influencing, relationship-building and communication skills to advocate for a product roadmap that meets these needs. You will build an end-to-end go-to-market strategy to drive adoption of products and lead improvements in product development, product positioning, sales incentives, external marketing, and training.

Our client's mission in Product Sales & Activation is to fuel SMB advertiser growth by enabling customers to achieve the most with our products today and shaping our products for tomorrow. They are the product and business experts behind the Customer Solutions sales teams responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth and product adoption. They identify opportunities through data-driven analyses, drive alignment with stakeholders across organizations (Sales, Product, Marketing), and program manage these cross-functional teams to drive advertiser success.

About Local Services Ads

Local Services is an advertising product that connects users with trusted local service providers. Their product is available in 60+ local services categories, and 11 countries across North America and Western Europe. They are growing quickly in revenue, with ambitious plans to expand to additional service categories and countries in 2022-23. They are looking for an entrepreneurial and hands-on operator and strategic thinker to drive advertiser growth in EMEA. This is a highly cross-functional role with tight collaboration across Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Sales, and Marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for Local Services Ads (LSA) in EMEA including sales activation, channel mix (e.g., Channel Sales, Agencies, LCS, DSA), pipeline development, and target setting
  • Act as the face of LSA in EMEA with internal sales teams, including LCS and GCS. Champion LSA in the region through training session, sales enablement and marketing collateral
  • Act as the voice of the customer for LSA in EMEA to surface customer feedback and work with Product and Engineering to identify, prioritize and implement solutions

Skill/Experience/Education

Mandatory:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5 years professional experience in strategy, consulting, sales, product management, business operations, or equivalent.
  • Experience leading complex strategic and operational initiatives. Experience leading large cross-functional teams.

Desired:

  • Having as many of these specific qualifications is a plus, but transferable skills/experiences may be equally valuable: Strong leadership presence, with a proven ability to inspire followership across all levels of the organisation and a track record of influencing senior leaders through judgement and data.
  • Superior business sense, problem solving, project management and analytical skills.
  • Ability to think big and systemically, with a bias to action and extraordinary attention to detail.
