Job Description

Exciting opportunity for a Finance Project Manager with a leading multinational based in the heart of Dublin City Centre.

This is a pivotal role in the global implementation of the organisations new ERP system rollout and updates. You will take ownership of the testing of new updates, ensuring design and deliver. Working cross-functionally with various global department heads in areas such as logistics and finance. This is a hands-on role and will suit a systems and project orientated Accountant. We are looking for a self-starter with a passion for projects, systems, and stakeholder management.

Salary €75,000, - €80,000

Key responsibilities:

  • Acting as the Finance lead, ensuring the seamless flow of the new ERP implementation. Ensuring the design and delivery represents the key finance processes it supports, through best solutions and internal controls
  • Acting as the main point of contact, you will be involved in project workshops
  • This will involve participation in project workshops, acting as a central point of contact, driving and managing successful completion of tasks assigned to the finance team. This will involve data migration, mapping and testing of new solutions, training, analysis etc
  • Manage, drive and influence the development and implementation of system and process improvements for the company, in order to drive efficiencies and provide a best in class service to stakeholders throughout cross functional finance and logistics
  • Responsible for maintaining and developing existing Power BI environment
  • Responsible for assessing the database and its reporting capability defining the future of Finance Reporting
  • Supporting divisions to implement decentralisation strategy
  • Support the development and implementation of new divisional software through workshops, meetings, testing, feedback, designing new processes, systems risk assessment
  • Preparation and presentation of monthly project pack to management team
  • Identify impact of opportunities and risks on financial results, ensuring to mitigate against any risks where possible
  • Sharing expertise and imparting knowledge, influencing others to drive efficiencies and continuous improvements
  • Proactive engagement with IT to promote resolution and developments in a timely manner
  • Supporting divisions through managing ongoing Transfer Pricing alignment process

Qualifications & Person Specification:

  • ACCA/ ACA/ CIMA Qualified Accountant
  • Minimum of 5- 6 years' experience
  • Must have previous project / systems transformation experience
  • Experience with SAP is advantageous
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with experience in forging strong stakeholder relationships cross functionally
  • Solution driven, ability to manage change
  • Strong technical acumen
  • Driven individual, a self starter
