My client is a leading Cork-based manufacturing who collaborates with global mulitnationals. They are seeking a skilled Customer Service Supervisor to join their dynamic team. As the Customer Service Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and driving the performance of the customer service team.

Location: Ringaskiddy (fully onsite role)

Salary : €38,000+ DOE

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of customer service representatives, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure high-quality customer interactions.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer service efficiency and effectiveness, including the establishment of service level agreements (SLAs), key performance indicators (KPIs), and metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, production, and logistics, to ensure seamless coordination of customer service operations.
  • Monitor and analyse customer service performance data, identify areas for improvement, and implement action plans to optimize customer satisfaction.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for escalated customer inquiries or complaints, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting a customer-centric culture and providing opportunities for professional development and growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in customer service, implementing innovative solutions to enhance the customer experience.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key performance metrics and recommending process improvements.

The successful candidate will have;

  • Proven experience as a Customer Service leadership position
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Sound knowledge of customer service principles and practices, including SLAs, KPIs, and metrics.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to gather and interpret data to drive performance improvements.
  • Proficiency in using customer service software, CRM systems, and other relevant tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle challenging situations effectively.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and requirements.
