Job Description

Exciting new role with a renowned multinational establishing new offices in Dublin. You will work closely with and report to the Head of Credit and Collections.

Exciting new role with a renowned multinational establishing new offices in Dublin. You will work closely with and report to the Head of Credit and Collections. This is an exciting, new and hands on role where you will assume responsibility for the global customer credit analysis.

Key responsibilities:

Taking ownership of and establishing the global migrated credit function:

  • Establishing and managing strong working relationships with customers
  • Developing collaborate relationships with sales team to gain in in depth understanding of the business needs and requirements
  • Ensuring rigorous process for customer for annual customer credit review to mitigate against risk
  • Assessing credit requests and amendments, through thorough analysis of financial statements
  • Mitigating risk by identifying market, economic threats, and opportunities for the company
  • Providing reports and recommendations based on analysis of credit risk
  • Constantly monitoring and reviewing customer portfolio, highlighting risks, and maximising opportunities
  • Ensuring timely responses to credit requests from customers and sales team
  • Ensuring sales team are trained on all credit related process, supporting them with required

Documentation

Promote customer goodwill through professional credit management and relationship building

  • Furnishing the senior leadership team with KPI credit reports
  • Ensuring and support an effective and meaningful Credit Reporting process
  • Ensuring key internal controls procedures are in accordance with compliance standards and SOX controls
  • Assisting with roll out of system upgrades and implementations
  • Developing and implementing credit processes and procedures to optimise efficiency of the global credit and collections function
  • Close collaboration with senior collections team members and head of collections and credit
  • on new process improvements
  • Acquisitions: Planning and integration into the Credit function

Experience required:

  • Credit certificate advantageous
  • BA in accounting, mathematics, finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 5- 6 years' credit and collections experience
  • Multinational experience is essential
  • Global collections experience
  • Strong excel and ERP skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Relevant SOX knowledge
  • Ability to multitask in a global collections function
  • Strong interpersonal skill with ability to build rapport with various stakeholders, customers, and internal departments
