Job Description

My client, an established leader in their field, is currently seeking an ambitious and driven Client Relationship Executive to join their team.

The Role:

    • Building own relationships with key buyers and influencers in the client
    • Coordinating team activities to build multiple strong relationships with client stakeholders and influencers/ buyers
    • Orchestrating the team to proactively offer insights, thought leadership and points of view to the client
    • Evolving processes to better share intelligence across the team about the client's business, culture and people
    • Working with the Lead Business Partners to develop and maintain a deep understanding of all services/ propositions available
    • Leading key activities in the development and execution of a 3-year account outlook and annual campaign strategy
    • Working with the client service team to develop solutions and proposals
      which meet client priorities and challenges
    • Coordinating the sales pipeline, including pursuits and proposals, securing the right SMEs and highlighting 'win' themes
    • Drawing on personal and team network to identify resources across network to support or join the team
    • Providing account and pursuit teams with up to date coaching on client challenges and upcoming trends
    • On-boarding new account team members with detailed client knowledge and history
    • Maintaining and focusing attention on the succession plan for all key roles on the account; LCSP, LBPs (Lead Business Partners)
    • Leveraging stakeholder relationships to get things done, secure resources, remove roadblocks
    • Providing ongoing support to the LCSP in defining and consistently communicating the vision and strategy for the team
    • Running team Pulse surveys and organising follow up
    • Managing team meetings and communication processes
    • Working with the LCSP in coordinating pricing negotiations with the client Procurement function
    • Sharing information about client buying and the competitor landscape
    • Supporting the LCSP and the team in developing an overall annual business plan (inc. global if necessary) and the LBPs with a plan for each Business area
    • Maintaining account financial oversight and reporting
    • Collaborating with internal functions in raising and resolving any risk or brand issues
    • Capturing and allocating within the team the management of any quality or service issues
    • Monitoring compliance with contractual obligations

The Person:

    • An integrator with strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
    • An understanding of the firm, our Financial Services clients and how we service those clients
    • Commercially focused individual who understands the Financial Services market in Ireland
    • Strong understanding/ experience of business development/ sales in a professional services context
    • Strong problem-solver and strategic, innovative thinker with the ability to translate concepts into practical and executable plans
    • Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritise, set and meet deadlines
    • Ability to interact and interface with all levels, especially with leadership
    • Ability to deal with a degree of ambiguity and use own initiative
    • Strong communications, writing and presentation skills
    • A blend of sales, executive relationship, commercial and business development experience ideally within the financial services environment
    • Successful at building new relationships and winning business
    • Degree and/or equivalent qualified
    • Proven track record of working in a complex, matrix or multi-faceted environment
