A fantastic temporary opportunity (initially) for a Bid Manager with a busy mechanical engineering consultancy firm in Dublin

A mechanical and electrical engineering consultancy firm is looking for a bid manager to join their team to cover a 7-month contract. This role will be in Dublin and will be commencing as soon as possible. This is an excellent role if you are looking to gain responsibility for a much broader role and it is an opportunity for someone to develop their career autonomously in a stand-alone role.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will report and liaise directly into Directors and the financial department to complete bids
• Complete tenders and requests for proposal's
• Source potential bids and proposals
• You will track and manage the bid qualification process
• Preparing and reviewing commercial aspects of the bid
• Manage budget and ensure timely delivery
• Maintain records for database and libraries

Key Requirements:

• A least 3 years' experience in a similar role
• Must be able to work on own initative
• Experience of the Irish bidding process is a distinct advantage
• Highly competent in administrative skills and computer literacy
• Excellent communication skills
