This a well-rounded role and offers great opportunity for further development in company experiencing high growth. You will report to the Finance Manager, working as part of a team you will be responsible for the day to day financial accounting activities.

Overview: You will be responsible for producing monthly management accounts, financial statements, budgeting, tax filing, board reporting packs, group financial accounting, monitoring cash movements as well as other duties

Key responsibilities:

  • Compiling and processing accounting entries for production monthly management accounts.
  • Ensure accuracy of the general ledger and seek improvements and efficiencies in the population of the general ledger;
  • Accurate and timely booking of expenses
  • Review accruals booked against budgeted amount for any over/under accrual
  • Monitoring the company accounts for all incoming and outgoing payments, producing bank reconciliations and processing payments.
  • Produce Financial Statement for the Management Company. Ensure accuracy of Financial Statement disclosures for the Management Company and the UCITS Umbrella in line with IFRS;
  • Assist in preparation and filing of Tax returns including VAT, Corporation Tax, DWT
  • Assist in preparation and filing for returns to CBI relevant for UCITS management company
  • Preparing group reporting pack and responding to any queries from the parent company
  • Complying with companies as well as the group policies and procedures
  • Assist in preparation of Company's budget and perform regular review & forecasting
  • Preparation of periodic reports for the Board of Directors.
  • AD HOC- Any others report to be prepared as necessary for the subsidiary and the Parent company

Qualifications and Person Specifications:

  • Third level Accounting, Finance, or relevant qualification
  • Part-qualified ACA/ACCA,
  • Strong working knowledge of accounts preparation
  • 2-3 years' relevant experience working in a busy finance function
  • Professional services or financial services experience is advantageous
  • knowledge of financial products and markets is advantageous
  • excellent Excel skills, using VLOOKUPs, Pivots, formula etc
  • Strong planning, problem solving
  • Be enthusiastic and eager to learn, self-starter
