This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager. You will be responsible for day to day accounts payable activities while working as a part of the successful team.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Accounts Payable Manager to join a forward-thinking finance team. There is a broad remit with this role and will involve developing close working relationships across all areas of the business. This role is accounts payable driven but with transformation and project work also included.

Team management - oversee a team of accounts payable assistants including recruitment, training, motivation, development, and retention.
Overall responsibility for the AP month end close including but not limited to carriers, overheads invoicing, credit cards processing and balance sheet reconciliations.
Review and approval of weekly payment run ensuring payments are made in line with agreed payment terms.
ERP AP system including master data, new vendors, system approvals, procurement categories, purchase ledger parameters, new entity set up and system upgrades.
Ensuring that policies and procedures adhere to company policies while functioning with accuracy and timeliness.
Manage all external audit activities for the AP function.
Standardize procedures to generate efficiency in day to day AP processes.
Automation and transformation projects will be key to this role.
Produce KPI's to measure the efficiency of the accounts payable function.
Dealing with internal and external ad-hoc requests as required.
Be a thought leader in developing new ways of working across the finance team. Given the pace at which the business is growing the need for Managers to develop new ways of working is an evolving requirement.
5+ years accounts payable experience with previous experience of running a busy Accounts Payable department.
Strong people management experience with proven experience of leading a team through a period of rapid growth.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight month end deadlines.
ERP AP experience - Microsoft Dynamics is an advantage.
Transformation experience is highly desirable.
Experience in diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
