Job Description

Exciting opportunity for a strong Accounts Assistant with a growing Tech company based in South Dublin. You will work alongside the Financial Accountant, reporting to the Financial Controller.

Exciting opportunity for a strong Accounts Assistant with a growing Tech company based in South Dublin. You will work alongside the Financial Accountant, reporting to the Financial Controller.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing the Sales & Purchase Ledger/ accounts payable and accounts receivables
  • Invoice processing, reconciling customer creditors ledger
  • Completing of weekly and monthly Bank Reconciliations
  • Invoicing, Cash Receipts & Payments
  • Monthly Accrual and Prepayment journal entry
  • Supporting the finance team with month end close activities for various entities
  • Completion of financial reports as required by the Financial Controller
  • Liaising with sales, operations, and other international teams
  • Supporting company tax returns
  • Various finance projects and other finance activities as may arise from time to time

Qualifications & Person Specification:

  • Relevant experience in a busy accounts function
  • Account's technician or part qualified accountant is advantageous
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong use of excel and ERP systems
  • Strong knowledge of debits and credits
  • Personable character, team player, inquisitive nature
  • Ability to work deadlines, prioritise and organise
