Job Description

An exciting opportunity to join our client as an OCM Lead on their transformation initiative to move from Oracle to SAP S/4 HANA

The Role

Our client is undertaking an enterprise-wide transformation initiative to move from Oracle to SAP S/4 HANA for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). This 18-month role will collaborate with a program team of experienced OCM professionals focused on the people side of change associated with the ERP transformation program. The goal is to facilitate our transition to new business processes, systems, and technology. The primary responsibility will be to maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance by executing change management plans, activities and deliverables. This role will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization of and proficiency with the changes that impact employees, as well as enable improvements to increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI, and the achievement of results and outcomes.

Essential Duties and Job Functions

This role will be highly-collaborative - this person should expect to maintain relationships with OCM team members, program leads, key leaders, and various business functions. Duties include, but are not limited, to;

* Leading the execution of the local change management strategy & plan for the Project in conjunction with the local project teams and program OCM leads. This will include

* Stakeholder analysis

* Assess the impact of proposed changes on impacted groups

* Develop strategies and plans to ensure maximum adoption of project deliverables, in alignment with the program OCM plan.

* Identify training needs and audiences

* Identify communications needs, audiences, messages and channels

* Execute and track communications/training/business readiness plans and develops sustainment/support plans

* Develop roadshow materials with the OCM Program team & coordinate local execution

Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

* Hands on experience in internal change management role and leading change management work

* Certified in Prosci or another Change Management acumen (preferred)

* Expertise in engaging individuals, teams, leadership to effectively catalyze and influence change

* Strong executive presence and ability to influence leaders; skilled in asking the right question(s) - in combination - to elicit a response for the leader/team needs at the moment

* Strong storytelling skills; ability to use stories to engage, inform, or inspire others. Drawing stories out of leaders and encouraging them to use storytelling as a leadership skill with an intense focus on end-user perspectives

* Skilled at reading and responding to the energy, knowing what is working/not, and adjusting facilitation style on the fly to accommodate the needs of the group

* Strong ability to articulate the big picture and to simplify complex, technical concepts and making them visual and relatable

* Able to understand and clarify business/project goals to translate those goals into actionable OCM strategies

* Serious attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities

* Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills

* Strong organizational and project management skills

* Intellectual curiosity and the ability to quickly learn

* Comfort working at a fast pace and with ambiguity

* Self-motivated individual, highly collaborative and great attitude


* BA/BS in relevant and/or related field; advanced degree preferred


* 5 years+ of experience in organizational change management

* Some experience implementing large-scale, transformational ERP financial system programs preferred
