This is a brand-new position with a multinational company based in Cork City. The EMEA logistics manager will report into global Supply Chain Director directly and have a dotted line responsibility into the region. The regional logistics manager is a key role in the global logistics organisation and is the link between the centre-led global logistics function and the regional/in-country leadership team and their respective logistics execution function.
Duties of the role:
Implementation of global logistics strategies
Work with the local logistics teams to understand the need for local customization of globally agreed logistics operating standards
Regional support for partnerships with global 3PLs that can be used by the business to deliver outsourced services for warehousing, transport and international logistics.
Be the focal point for global trade compliance at a regional-management level
Accountable for inbound and outbound process controls and driving cost efficiencies with sites.
