About the Role
A global digital marketplace is expanding its Live Commerce offering and is seeking an Italian-speaking Business Development Advisor to support seller acquisition for the Italian market.
Live Commerce enables sellers to showcase products through real-time, interactive livestream shopping experiences, connecting directly with buyers while driving immediate sales. In this role, you will focus on identifying and onboarding small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) interested in leveraging live selling to grow their online presence.
This position is fully remote within Ireland and operates on a fixed-term contract from April to December.
Key Responsibilities
SMB Seller Acquisition & Deal Ownership
- Identify, source, and acquire new SMB sellers interested in live commerce opportunities.
- Manage the full acquisition process from outbound prospecting and qualification to pitching, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Clearly communicate the value and potential of live commerce to prospective sellers.
Pipeline Management & Execution
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of potential sellers.
- Prioritize opportunities effectively to meet seller acquisition targets.
- Maintain consistent follow-ups and structured sales processes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with onboarding and customer success teams to ensure smooth transitions for newly signed sellers.
- Provide clear documentation and context to support successful seller activation.
Market Insight & Continuous Improvement
- Gather insights from seller conversations and market trends in the Italian e-commerce landscape.
- Share feedback internally to improve acquisition strategies and seller experience.
What You Bring
Sales Effectiveness
- At least 1 year of experience in sales, business development, or seller acquisition.
- Ability to conduct discovery conversations and guide prospects through the decision-making process.
