C++ Developer, 12 months renewable contract

Responsibilities

• Proficiency in C++, familiarity with Linux, and understanding of the firm's internal infrastructure are required, alongside regular communication with users for requirements gathering and issue resolution.
• While experience in the fintech industry is preferred, it is not mandatory. The firm will offer business training, expecting the candidate to learn quickly and effectively.
• The candidate will gain exposure to various business areas within the firm, including securities trading, wealth management, and fixed income.

Skills Reqd

• Strong skills and experience in UNIX and Linux environments are essential.
• Solid knowledge of programming languages, particularly C++, is required.
• A solid understanding of networking, data structures, and operating systems is mandatory, with scripting experience in languages like Shell, Python, or Perl being a plus.
• Strong analytical skills are needed, along with experience in Agile/DevOps, familiarity with large-scale distributed systems, and the ability to handle integration and support tasks under pressure.
