Operations Analyst - Foreign Hedge Fund

Responsibilities:

• Daily investment operations, periodic reporting and general operational and administrative functions of the firm.
• Monitor and ensure timely and accurate trade processing, reconciliations, corporate actions and valuations for investment portfolios and management of the relationship with the outsourced middle / back-office provider.
• Liaison with external counterparties and service providers.
• Assist in client onboarding and implementation of new funds/accounts.
• Support for regulatory compliance.
• Support for investor relations/fund marketing activities, including assistance with due diligence requests and fund marketing documents.
• Participate in other ad-hoc projects and duties as assigned.

Skills and Experience:

• University graduate.
• The role suits a practical, "hands-on" candidate who is keen to be involved across many different aspects of the business.
• Experience in asset management firms, professional accounting firms or the industry is a plus.
• Experience with legal and compliance, risk management, and regulatory reporting and/or handling investor queries will be an advantage.
• Good communication skills in English and Cantonese (Mandarin is a plus, but not a prerequisite).
• Proficiency in relevant operational and financial software and tools.
• Collaborative, detail-oriented, analytical, able to multi-task, committed and long-term focused.
