Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee IT audit engagements from planning to reporting, ensuring adherence to professional standards and internal methodologies.
- Develop and execute risk-based audit plans, focusing on IT systems, applications, infrastructure, and data security.
- Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of IT controls, identifying deficiencies and recommending practical solutions.
- Mentor and develop junior audit staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance.
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, or a related field.
- 10-20 years of progressive experience in IT audit, risk management, or a related field, with a significant portion in a leadership capacity.
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, CIA, CPA, or CA are highly preferred.
- Expertise in IT control frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT) and regulatory compliance (e.g., SOX, GDPR, HIPAA).
- Strong understanding of modern IT architectures, cloud computing, cybersecurity principles, and data analytics.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing audit teams.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated adaptability and intellectual curiosity to keep pace with rapidly evolving technology and risk landscapes.
