Role Overview
A leading private equity investment firm is seeking a detailed-oriented Assistant Finance Manager to join its team in Hong Kong. This role oversees the financial operations, financial reporting, analysis, and regulatory compliance for the firm's USD Fund. Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, you will play a key role in maintaining robust financial controls, driving accurate reporting, and monitoring fund performance.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day financial operations, accounting, and financial reporting functions for USD Funds.
Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and fund agreements.
Coordinate annual audits, liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and fund administrators.
Oversee regulatory filings and ensure full compliance with financial rules and corporate governance guidelines.
Track and analyze fund performance, cash flows, capital calls, and distributions.
Perform detailed financial analysis and present key insights to management and stakeholders.
Collaborate cross-functionally with investment, legal, and operational teams to support fund operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Certification: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage.
Experience: 3-5 years of relevant working experience in financial services, asset management, private equity, or venture capital.
Technical Expertise: Solid grounding in finance and accounting, with a strong grasp of fund reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical capabilities with high precision and strong attention to detail.
Communication: Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin) is required for stakeholder engagement.
Core Competencies: Strong organizational skills with the proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
