About the Client
This is an exciting opportunity to join a global market leader in logistics and supply chain solutions business as the Head of Operation to look after the contract logistics business. This role will be operating with a holistic, cross-border mindset, you will design and implement the regional strategic planning process, manage critical vendor partnerships, and lead a high-performing operations team to sustain and grow regional revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive customer-focused service across all sales matters while planning and coordinating regional activities to retain and grow sustainable sales revenue.
- Design, implement, and direct strategic initiatives at the regional level to support long-term growth targets. Select, supervise, and monitor third-party consultants and contractors to benchmark best costs and services.
- Conduct rigorous sales and performance analyses. Deliver comprehensive proposals and reports to executive management to drive critical business decisions.
- Appoint and manage external suppliers, service providers, and consultants. Partner closely with company secretaries, auditors, and legal counsel to ensure strict adherence to statutory and risk management requirements.
- Collaborate closely with global networks and cross-border teams to secure and retain high-value country, regional, and global customer accounts.
- Determine organizational structure, define KPIs, and drive the performance management process. Cultivate a team culture focused on quality, service excellence, agility, cost-consciousness, and cross-functional capability.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in logistics operations, contract logistics, warehouse management, or logistics general management.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in regional strategic planning, corporate financial fundamentals, and complex risk management within a multinational framework.
- fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
- Proficient in SAP and WMS
