Commercial Director - Global Logistics Company

This is an exciting opportunity to take the commercial reins of a major forwarding player and directly influence its footprint in the luxury and high value assets sector. You will be given the autonomy to redefine regional pricing structures, elevate the sales culture, and directly impact the global bottom line in a highly visible role.

Key responsibilities:

• Take lead the regional commercial strategy and financial performance.
• Design advanced pricing frameworks for freight and contract logistics, analyze account profitability, and implement rigorous bid governance to protect and expand margins.
• Lead the commercial team to transition from transactional selling to consultative, value-driven supply chain partnerships, while enforcing strict CRM discipline.
• Serve as the executive face of the business for elite clientele, cultivating deep relationships with global fashion houses, premium retailers, and luxury manufacturers.
• Secure new business and aggressively drive share-of-wallet expansion across all forwarding services.
• Act as the critical bridge between the commercial team and global operations.
• oversee complex contract negotiations and ensure that the operational infrastructure can flawlessly deliver on SLAs for high-value, time-critical premium shipments.
• Leverage commercial data to evaluate trade lane profitability, pipeline health, and product economics.
• Build robust business cases for new supply chain solutions and go-to-market strategies.

Candidate Profile

• 10 to 15+ years of senior commercial leadership within the global freight forwarding, contract logistics, or broader supply chain industry.
• A proven track record of securing and managing enterprise accounts within the luxury, or high value assets sectors is highly preferred.
• Deep understanding of freight pricing dynamics, yield management, global trade lanes, and complex supply chain contract negotiations.
• Demonstrated success in driving structural sales transformations, coaching teams, and collaborating effectively across a highly matrixed global network.
• Professional fluency in English and Chinese
