Equity Researcher (Relocate to Sydney)

Responsibilities:

• Analyze market-moving events and assess their impact on covered equities or sectors
• Conduct valuation assessments and financial modeling of listed companies
• Collaborate with traders to generate actionable investment strategies
• Deliver real-time analysis and views in response to breaking news
• Project dividend outcomes and assess corporate actions such as M&A activity
• Attend industry events, earnings calls, and conferences as needed

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in finance, equity research, or a related field
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or similar, with strong academic performance
• Exposure to company-level fundamental research is highly advantageous
• Excellent analytical, writing, and research capabilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Familiarity with trading desks and derivatives is a plus
• Broad understanding of financial markets and asset classes is beneficial
• Driven, curious, and capable of working independently with keen problem-solving skills
