    Overview:

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Specialist / Assistant Payroll Manager. The ideal candidate will assist in managing payroll processes and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Process and manage payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
    • Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in status.
    • Assist in the preparation of payroll reports and summaries for management review.
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
    • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and related issues.
    • Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate benefits administration and deductions.
    • Support the Assistant Payroll Manager in payroll audits and reconciliations.
    • Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation and best practices.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
    • Proven experience in payroll processing and administration.
    • Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
