Our client, an established foreign corporate bank, is looking for an experienced credit risk manager to join the team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead regular and ad hoc analysis of portfolio exposure, credit quality, concentrations, expected loss/credit cost, profitability, and risk appetite; identify emerging risks and vulnerabilities; translate findings into actionable management recommendations.
- Design, execute, review, and enhance periodic/ad hoc stress testing; assess impacts on credit quality, expected loss, and risk appetite.
- Enhance end-to-end credit risk governance, contributing to policies/procedures, reporting standards, monitoring frameworks, risk appetite, and early warning processes.
- Manage initiatives from concept to stakeholder alignment, implementation planning, execution tracking, and management reporting.
- Ensure effective credit risk management (including regulatory/audit responses); coach and develop team members, encourage constructive challenge and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Degree holder with at least 7 years of relevant experience in credit risk management within the banking industry/ consultancy.
- Familiar with corporate credit portfolio analysis, stress testing, risk planning and risk governance within a financial institution.
- Good understanding of credit stress testing methodologies, credit risk concepts, risk indicators and risk appetite framework.
- Proficient in Python, SAS, SQL, Power BI or other data analytics/ visualization tools.
- Fluent in English.
