About the role
In this high‑visibility position, you will oversee complex consolidated reporting cycles, partner closely with senior management on strategic insights, and drive continuous improvements across a multi‑country finance function.
Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation, implementation, and monitoring of monthly, quarterly, semi‑annual, and annual consolidated financial statements and reports.
- Analyze financial data and deliver regular and ad‑hoc insights to support senior management decision‑making.
- Contribute to semi‑annual and annual reports, business performance announcements, and quarterly updates to the Board.
- Manage and coordinate external audit processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial disclosures.
- Drive continuous improvements to enhance reporting processes, efficiency, and system effectiveness.
- Oversee and develop a multi‑country accounting team through recruitment, training, performance management, and engagement initiatives.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to support financial governance, reporting requirements, and business initiatives across regions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Professional accounting qualification.
- At least 8+ years of relevant background with big 4 audit experience.
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, with experience driving process or systems improvements.
- Exposure to commercial and manufacturing environments, with solid understanding of Hong Kong statutory reporting and listing rules.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and presentation capabilities, with the ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives.
- Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
