In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll and billing processes for contractors, clients, and Singapore-based employees. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and proven experience in Payroll/Billing. You will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, invoicing, and compliance with all relevant regulations, while maintaining high-quality financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Administration
- Manage payroll for contractors and all Singapore-based employees (including salary computation and statutory contributions such as CPF, SDL, etc.)
- Ensure accurate collection, verification, and entry of timesheets and other payroll data
- Calculate deductions, tax filings, and statutory contributions, ensuring compliance with MOM, CPF Board, IRAS, and other local regulations
- Address payroll-related inquiries from employees and contractors, and maintain up-to-date employee records
- Billing & Invoicing
- Generate and distribute accurate invoices to clients based on contract terms and service agreements
- Reconcile client accounts, manage billing discrepancies, and coordinate with internal teams to validate billing data and promptly resolve issues
- Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure adherence to labour laws, tax regulations, and company policies
- Prepare payroll and billing reports for internal and external stakeholders, and generate regular financial and reconciliation reports
- Collaborate with the Finance team to support internal and external audits as required, assisting in month-end closing activities related to payroll and contracting billing
- Collaboration
- Work closely with Recruitment Consultants, the Contract Experience team, and the Finance team
- Maintain strong professional relationships with clients and contractors
Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven 8+ years experience in accounting, ideally in payroll processing and/or billing
- Knowledge of Singapore payroll regulations and statutory filing requirements is highly preferable
- Candidates without payroll experience but ability to demonstrate willingness to learn will also be considered
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, strong numerical skills
- Strong organisational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively
- Great problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
