A renowned statutory body is now looking for a Research Analyst to develop various research projects on market and consumer trend via business intelligence tool.
Responsibilities
-Conduct research for collecting intelligence on the business outlook, movement and changes of the contextual environment
-Provide analysis on market outlook and macro environment in order to support the formulation of business strategies
-Analyze the implications of changes in business operations, market potential, consumer portfolio, behaviour and characteristics to identify opportunities for the formulation of marketing strategies
-Undertake various research projects, events tracking surveys, and others thematic studies to ensure the projects are properly executed, completed on time and within budget
Requirement
-Degree holder preferably in Statistics/Quantitative Analysis/Mathematics/Business Administration/Social Science/ Marketing or equivalent
-4 -6 years practical experience in marketing research/ quantitative analysis/ strategic planning
-Strong PC skills, especially in MS office and statistical software e.g. SAS, SPSS
-Knowledge or experience in data warehouse and data mining will be an advantage
-Knowledge or experience in sophisticated analysis and data processing skills
-Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills and detail-minded
