Business Analyst - Investment Accounting System implementation project - Leading Insurance Company - 1 year contract - Extendable
Our client, a top tier Insurance company, is currently hiring an IT Business Analyst to support the roll out an investment accounting system for their Group Finance Transformation department - Sat under the CFO who handles actuarial, investments and finance.
The client is currently implementing a new Investment Accounting System, and this role is responsible for supporting this implementation and project deliverables in rolling out the system to 10 business units. The role reports to the CFO and investment accounting lead, (depending on the responsibility) The team is comprised of 10 people and is augmented with teams in each local business unit also working with some vendors for support.
The team needs additional capacity on the Investment accounting side, somebody who understands the financial transactions resulting from activities and events on the investment side. This role will be working with the business units to clarify the accounting treatment of various financial assets, setting up the investment accounting systems to produce these results, reconciliation/control of system output, and delivery of system results to Oracle GL.
This is a new headcount supporting a major Transformation program for 1 of Hong Kong's most Innovative and Tech driven Insurance firms, working directly with Senior Regional Stakeholders on day to day basis, on a regional platform.
- At least 3 years Business Analyst experience
- Must have investment accounting system project experience
