Job Title: Senior Financial Accountant

Overview:
We are partnering with a leading Investment Management firm who are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join their Finance team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This is a broad role, offering exposure across UK, US, and Asian entities, with a focus on management accounting, year-end reporting, and finance transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:

Preparation and review of monthly management accounts across UK and US entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Oversight and coordination of financial reporting processes for Asian entities.

Support in year-end statutory reporting and liaising with external auditors during the annual audit process.

Preparation of quarterly regulatory returns in line with FCA and other relevant regulations.

Assist with group consolidations and reporting under both IFRS and US GAAP.

Partner with wider Finance team on finance transformation projects, process improvement, and system enhancements.

Provide insightful analysis and commentary on financial results to senior stakeholders.
Key Requirements:

Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).

Strong technical accounting skills, with experience in management and statutory reporting.

Prior experience within financial services, ideally Investment Management or Asset Management.

Working knowledge of US GAAP highly desirable.

Strong understanding of regulatory reporting requirements.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders across multiple regions.

Proactive, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities within a fast-paced environment.
