We are partnering confidentially with a leading global reinsurance specialist to recruit a Part- Qualified Finance Operations Analyst into its London-based finance team. This high-visibility role sits at the heart of the UK operations, offering complete ownership of the expense and banking functions for the branch and its associated service entities.

Key Responsibilities
Expense Operations & Purchase Ledger
- Lead the delivery of expense and banking functions, ensuring excellence across financial operations.
- Deliver end-to-end expense processes, including shared service budget collation and service provider recharges.
- Manage the employee expense policy and reimbursement services, acting as a Subject Matter Expert for internal payment tools.
- Oversee banking transactions and ensure the accuracy of all bank-related ledger postings.
Planning, Budgeting & Analysis
- Take ownership of annual expense planning and provide insightful recommendations to senior management.
- Lead the production of internal expense reporting for Board and Management review.
- Manage intercompany recharging processes, including invoicing and relationship management across business units.
Process Improvement & Project Work
- Own the improvement and automation of financial processes to drive continuous operational efficiency.
- Identify and test new ideas to simplify workflows, reduce manual effort, and enhance internal controls.
- Contribute to Group-wide initiatives and project environments, aligning UK efforts with global standards.
Your Profile
- Qualifications: Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA).
- Sector Experience: 2-3 years of experience specifically built within Financial Services or Insurance.
- Technical Background: Strong experience in purchase ledger management is essential.
- Direct exposure to budgeting, expense planning, or FP&A activities.
- Proven track record of contributing to project-based work or process automation.
- Strong financial analysis and solution design skills used to identify trends and patterns.
- Communicating & Influencing: Ability to explain financial concepts clearly and persuade stakeholders through evidence-based narratives.
- Delivery & Accountability: Takes ownership of high-quality, timely deliverables while meeting tight deadlines.
- Collaboration & Innovation: Fosters cross-functional relationships and generates new ideas to simplify workflows.
