Grade 5 Executive Support Officer

We are currently recruiting for a Grade 5 Executive Support Officer to provide high-level executive and administrative support to an Executive Lead.

This is an initial 6-month contract with a strong possibility of extension for the right candidate. An immediate start is preferred.
Salary: €50,000 - €52,000 DOE
Key Responsibilities
As the Executive Support Officer, you will play a key role in supporting strategic priorities and ensuring the smooth delivery of executive functions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-level executive and PA-style support to the Executive Lead.
- Coordinating and progressing strategic priorities and operational objectives.
- Assisting with the planning, monitoring, and tracking of key projects, workstreams, and organisational initiatives.
- Preparing high-quality briefing papers, reports, presentations, and supporting documentation for senior decision-making.
- Coordinating meetings with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring actions and deliverables are followed through to completion.
- Monitoring timelines, milestones, and governance requirements across a range of strategic activities.
- Liaising with managers and multidisciplinary teams to gather information and support the successful delivery of projects.
- Supporting the implementation of organisational plans by coordinating communications, documentation, and follow-up actions.
- Maintaining accurate records, producing management information, and assisting with reporting requirements.
- Providing proactive administrative support that enables the Executive Lead to effectively manage day-to-day strategic and operational responsibilities.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience in an Executive Support, Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or senior administrative role.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience preparing reports, presentations, and briefing materials for senior stakeholders.
- The ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to build effective working relationships across all levels of an organisation.
