About the Role
We are a dynamic and growing organisation within hospitality & entertainment sector, providing essential support services across multiple business operations. We are now looking for a Junior Accounts Assistant to join our finance team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in finance, gaining hands-on experience across accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable process, including:
- Raising purchase orders and completing three-way matching
- Processing supplier invoices accurately within the finance system
- Performing supplier statement reconciliations
- Preparing and processing regular payment runs
- Managing AP inboxes and responding to queries
- Support Accounts Receivable activities, including:
- Monitoring outstanding debts and supporting timely collections
- Producing and distributing weekly AR reports
- Communicating debtor updates to finance and operational teams
- Process employee expenses and company credit cards
- Perform daily bank postings and reconciliations, ensuring discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly
- Assist with cash postings, including revenue from various operational areas
