Payroll and Comps Data Analyst (Asset Management Firm)

• Take full ownership of the end-to-end payroll and commission payout process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for our sales team.

• Partner with a key team member to fix and refine the current commission structure, and use your expertise to design and implement an automated solution for payouts.

• This is a high-autonomy role where your attention to detail and ability to streamline processes will directly impact employee satisfaction and business efficiency.

• Work closely with both the finance and operations teams to ensure smooth, efficient payroll management and contribute to a more strategic process.

• 12 Months Contract, up to $6500

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and manage the full payroll process, including the accurate payout of commissions for our sales team.
• Work closely with a key team member to fix and refine the current commission structure.
• Utilize advanced Excel skills to model, compute, and verify complex commission calculations based on varying rates.
• Design and implement an automated solution to streamline the commission payout process, reducing manual effort and potential for errors.
• Serve as the primary executor for all payroll and commission-related tasks.
• Collaborate with the finance and operations teams to ensure seamless payroll management.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a payroll, finance, or data analysis role.
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Excel is essential; you must be adept at handling complex data sets and calculations.
• A strong understanding of payroll processes and commission structures.
• Experience with process automation or a demonstrated ability to learn and implement new systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Self-starter who is comfortable with a high degree of autonomy.
